Anubis then walks over to Xin Xin. He then asks Fox to stand behind her.

Fox, close your eyes and look away,' says Anubis who then turns to Xin Xin. "This will help you to relax," says Anubis. "Now watch the eye of the ankh."

Xin Xin nods and concentrates of the ankh. Soon Anubis administers a hypnotic spell in which Xin Xin slowly loses conscioucness until she was fast asleep.

"How long will she be sleeping?" asks Krystal.

"She'll awake in the morning very refreshed," says Anubis. "However, when she does wake up, she will have no memory of what has happened here."

"So you erased her memory?" says Fox who carries the sleeping Xin Xin in his arms. "How much?"

"To the point when I had her abducted," says Anubis. "She won't remember being abducted, being here or meeting us. It would be as if nothing has happened."

"It's better this way," says Bast. "Being haunted by such memories would be too much for that child."

"I guess it is for the best," says Krystal.

"Now there's just one more thing to do before we return to the Underworld," says Bast. "It is something that I ask of you."

"Really?" asks Krystal. "What is it?"
