While talking in the corridors of The Stinger, Ben Grimm (The Thing) makes a fateful decision. Although he felt honored to be asked to join Krystal as part of her crew, he regretfully has to turn it down because of his full-time committments with the Fantastic Four. Even though she was disappointed, Krystal fully understands Ben's commitments. However, Ben is willing to be with the crew on a part-time basis whenever he's available. Krystal was willing to accept that type of compromise.
