The Perils of Pauline

Another render based on the Silent Movie Days. Long before the schtick of Dudley DoRight, Nell Fenwick, Snidley Whiplash and Penelope Pitstop was a classic serial film series called "The Perils of Pauline" which took place a little over a century ago. It starred Pearl White as the perennial damsel in distress who finds herself in various cliffhanger predicaments. And of course, the scene of the damsel tied to the railroad tracks has now become a long running cliché in movies, television and animation. Will the dashing hero rescue Pauline in time? (Yay!) Or is poor Pauline doomed to the oncoming train set by the dastardly villain? (BOO! HISS!)
