Krystal approaches the phantom with caution. The phantom gazes at Krystal with its red eyes as if it's judging her.

"Greetings", says the phantom in a deep voice that is somewhat non-threatening. "I am the Priest of Shadows. Why do you wish to come to the portal?"

"I am Krystal of the Stinger II", answers Krystal. "My friends and I are looking for a teenage girl who have disappeared. A trail we found has led us to this place. We have reason to believe that she may have been taken through the portal against her will. We are hoping to find her."

"So you're here to come to the aid of another as opposed to finding personal gain," says the Priest of Shadows. "An interesting change of pace."

"What do you mean?" asks Krystal.

"I am the guardian of this portal and through the years many would come to have their dreams fulfilled," explains the Priest of Shadows. "Some found their dreams just to be themselves while others would end up experiencing their worst nightmares. What you seek is rather unique. Those who come here don't often put others ahead of themselves. And those driven by greed or lust of power would eventually end up destroying themselves. Let me set the portal to the dimension you seek."

The Priest of Shadows then faces the portal and raises his ghostly arms. Lightning activity becomes more active and intense. Then it eventually settles itself.

"You and your friends can step through the portal," says The Priest of Shadows. "The one you seek is in the region on the other side. I will tell you that this region is composed of two places. One is a place of control while the other is a place of chaos. However, the residents of those places are intelligent and may provide aid or challenge you."

"In other words, we could encounter good or evil on the other side," says Krystal.

"Exactly," says The Priest of Shadows. "You and the others may now enter the portal. Good luck on your quest."

"Thank you, Priest of Shadows," says Krystal as she beckons the others. Soon Krystal, Tiny, Renamon and Snuffles enter the portal.
