Krystal walks over to Kursed who is still a bit distraught after seeing Marcus.

Krystal: Kursed, I know something has been bothering you and I can tell from the way you've been looking at Fox and myself but when you saw Marcus, something struck a nerve in you. Do you want to talk about it?

Kursed: Sigh. I might as well. After all, you are me. But the only difference is that you made better choices than I did.

Krystal: So what happened? Does this have to do with the Fox McCloud in your dimension?

Kursed: In a way, yes. Years ago, I left the Lylat System to become what you see now because I wanted a new life for myself. But then I ran into Fox who immediately recognized me. We talked and forgave each other and he wanted me to come with him so that we can be together again. But I wanted to do one last bounty job before we left together. That would be my biggest mistake.

Krystal: Was that last bounty job, the Predatron?

Kursed: Yes. We agreed to join forces with the Order of the Kitsune and help them catch that cyborg. But just as we were closing in on the Predatron, he got the drop on us. Set off a booby trap that would have killed us in an old warehouse where he's been hiding. Lovac, Vixxoria and I were able to escape but Fox didn't make it. The building collapsed on him, burying him alive. The Predatron escaped and we went through the rubble hoping to find Fox. We found his body and found that he was shot in the back. The Predatron used the booby trap to cover the sound of his blaster on Fox. Since then I made a vow to bring in that killer by joining the Kitsune on their hunt.

Krystal: So it's has really become personal for you. You want to make sure Fox's death in not in vain.

Kursed: If I hadn't agreed to go on this bounty hunt, Fox may still be alive today. But when I look at your Fox, alive and well, I can't help thinking how this could have been my life. But when I saw Marcus, What I saw was the son I'm never going to have.

Kursed soon broke down and Krystal was immediate in comforting her.

Krystal: It's all right. You shouldn't blame yourself. Now that I know your reasons, I 'm sure Fox and I will be more determined in bringing down the Predatron. But you and the Kitsune will have to brief us more about him. Together we'll bring him down.

Kursed: Thank you, Krystal. And you're right. I'm determined to avenge my Fox and bring down that mechanical monster.

Krystal: Good. Let's get back to briefing and you can tell us more about this Beast.
