It wasn't long befor the Main Squadron of Starfox Earth were on their way to Ridge Canyon to answer the unknown ship's distress signal.

Fox: How far are we from the target location, Krystal?

Krystal: We're now within the target location. We should be catching that craft on our radar soon.

Falco: We found something on our radar. It looks as if it's been wedged within the canyon walls.

Fox: How far down?

Katt: This isn't good. It looks as if it's pretty deep within the canyon. And there doesn't seem to be a place for us to land in order for us to help.

Krystal: We may have to resort to Plan B then.

Fox: Affirmative. Fara, scan for lifeforms within that ship.

Fara: Scanning now.

Sabre: Readout indicates three lifeforms on board. And they're all alive.

Krystal: Communications, Sabre?

Sabre:We should be able to make contact with this ship. It's a small craft compared to the Vanguard. So we should be able to execute Plan B.

Fox: Open communication on the ship. We should let them know what we're planning to do.

Fara: Right away, Fox.
