PTSD

This pic is for a challenge issued by called the Dark Sad Challenge. He would give a choice of three rather dark and sad sounding tunes and we are to make a form of art based on the tune. I chose a tune called PTSD, which sounds like this:

Knowing that it means Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, a condition that would affect many members of the military due to the pressures of battle, I put this picture together which features a soldier sitting in a doorway of a ruined building of a city devastated by war. As he waits for the rest of his battallion to come for him, and they will, he observes the ruins which is now a memory of lives lost in the heat of combat. As the rain falls, he places his weapon at his feet and holding his head in his hands, he finds himself asking one question: Is all this really worth it?
